What is Culevit Max?

Culevit Max is the latest member of the Culevit product family. This food for special medical purposes developed for cancer patients can be fit in comfortably in your everyday diet, as it has to be taken four times a day.

When is it recommended to take the product?

It is advised to start using the product as soon as there is a real suspicion of a tumourous disease. The tablets should be administered continuously, without interruption before, during and after oncology treatments. Even if the tumour can no longer be traced, it is still advised to continue the administration of the tablets.

How and when should be the product be administered?

Culevit Max film-coated tablet should be administered every day, continuously, without interruption. For adults, it is recommended to take 4 x 4 tablets/day. The tablets should preferably be taken between meals, 4 times a day, from morning till evening. Try to take it on an empty stomach (for example 30-45 minutes before meals, or 2 hours after meals).

If the tumour can no longer be traced, it is advised to continue the administration of the tablets: for 6 more months with a required dosage of 4 x 4 tablets/day, then for at least another 6 months with a minimum of 4 x 2 tablets/day.

What are the active ingredients of the product?

The active components of Culevit Max film-coated tablet – certain vitamins (C, B6, B2, Biotin), amino acids (L-Arginine, L-Phenylalanine, L-Histidine, L-Tryptophan, L-Methionine, L-Tyrosine), minerals (selenium) and other components (L-malic acid, Adenine, Glucosamine, Lipoic acid) – are substances also present in our circulatory system. Culevit Max film-coated tablet provides increased intake of these essential and important substances.

Since Culevit Max is sugar-free, it may also be taken by diabetics and patients with lactose intolerance.

What are the contraindications?

If you are allergic to any of the ingredients you should not consume the product! Patients with phenylketonuria should not administer it because the product contains Phenylalanine. Avoid using the product in case of hyperhomocysteinemia and homocystinuria, because it contains Methionine.

What else needs to be considered when taking the product?

The use of Culevit Max requires individual consideration in case of existing gastric and duodenal ulcers, and extreme gastric hyperacidity.

In case of hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism, consult your endocrinologist before taking the tablets (due to the L-Phenylalanine and L-Tyrosine content of the product).

If you suffer from a very rare disease associated with serotonin-producing carcinoid cancer, ask your physician for advice (due to the Tryptophan content of the product).

Patients undergoing renal dialysis or suffering from severe hepatic failure should consult a urologist or respectively a hepatologist/gastroenterologist.

Important notice:

Culevit Max film-coated tablet does not replace oncology treatments and medications! The product should only be used under medical supervision! The product should be kept out of reach of children! In case of children under the age of 6, pregnant or breastfeeding women, the administration of the product should be consulted with an obstetrician-gynecologist, respectively a pediatrician! Since Culevit Max film-coated tablet is sugar-free, it may also be taken by diabetics and patients with lactose intolerance. The product should not be used as a sole source of nourishment! Vitamin B2 colours the urine yellow.
